Description

In order to support policyholders, injured parties and beneficiaries of policies issued by CITY INSURANCE S.A. the Romanian Guarantee fund FGA has made available on its website a page in Italian “Pratiche relative alle richieste di pagamento” with the main information and forms to be filled in.

As already announced (23 September 2021, 7 October 2021 and 2 November 2021), the Romanian Supervisory Authority ASF ordered the withdrawal of the authorization of City Insurance and asked the Court to commence the winding-up proceedings.

City Insurance S.A. is a company having its head office in Romania which pursued insurance business in Italy by way of free provision of services (without a permanent presence), mainly in the suretyship class.
