RIGA procedure: update of the "shareholders" and "holdings" forms

As part of the process of evolutionary maintenance of IT applications, we inform you that an update to the RIGA procedure has been released for the forms: “Shareholders and Shareholders' Agreements” and “Qualifying Holdings in Undertakings”. The changes introduced include new automatic checks aimed at ensuring higher quality and accuracy of the transmitted data.

It should be noted that the intervention does not involve changes to the structure of the reports, as the content of the collected information remains unchanged.

In particular, the following automatic checks on the transmitted information have been designed:

  • check on the size of shareholders' holdings;
  • validation of tax codes and VAT numbers with the Bank of Italy's Register of Subjects;
  • consistency checks on validity dates related to shareholders, funds, agreements and holdings.

Any inconsistencies with the data in the historical archive will be communicated - like the other findings - via Infostat message.
