IPER survey

IVASS publishes the IPER Surveys, i.e. the survey of actual prices for motor liability insurance conducted on a broad and statistically representative sample of contracts written.

The surveys report:

• on a monthly basis, the main statistics on actual prices charged nationwide and with details on individual provinces.

• on a quarterly basis, the price surveys, with in-depth and thematic focus on the motor liability market (Statistical Communications).

Since the end of 2023, ISTAT has been using monthly IPER data acquired by IVASS as part of the centralized consumer price survey.
