New RUI portal

Category
Undertakings, Intermediaries
Description

As from the beginning of June, the new RUI Portal will be operational, allowing intermediaries and insurance companies to enter and update data (registration requests, communications, removals, modifications) directly in the Register.

It will be possible to access it by using, at one's choice, the digital identity (SPID), the national services card (CNS), or the electronic identity card (CIE), according to the methods indicated in the technical instructions that will be published on the IVASS website.

In order to access the portal, it is necessary that:

  • the legal representatives of mediation companies registered in Sections A, B and D of the Register
  • the legal representatives of insurance companies
  • the general representatives of the branch offices of mediation companies registered in the Enclosed List (EU)

seek prior accreditation to the Delegation Portal through SPID, CIE or CNS.
Once accredited, they may, in turn, delegate one or more individuals to access the Portal.

Natural persons acting as intermediaries, including when they operate as sole proprietorship, do NOT need to proceed with prior accreditation on the Delegation Portal, but they will be able to access the New RUI portal directly.

To enable the transition from the old to the new system, it should be noted that:

  • as of next April 30, it will NO LONGER be possible to send requests via electronic form transmission (smart PDF) and the dedicated PEC box will be disabled.
  • all the requests for data entry and updating that will be received by IVASS by April 30 will be processed with the current methods. After that date, it will be necessary to wait for the launch of the new Portal.

The handbook for using the new Portal will be made available close to its launch.
