Daniela Mariani

Born in Rome on 14 June 1964.
Graduated with honours in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences. After a short working experience at a company developing IT systems, she was hired by IVASS in 1990 where she dealt with prudential supervision, both on- and off-site.
In 2015 she was appointed Head of the Products and Selling Practices Division at the Consumer Protection Directorate and, from September 2019, of the Product Supervision Division within the Market Conduct Supervision Directorate, a position held until 2022 when she was appointed Staff Director at the Research and Data Management Directorate of IVASS.

Since 1 October 2024 she has held the post of Officer responsible for transparency and prevention of corruption at IVASS.

She is a member of the Technical Commission chaired by MASAF (Ministero dell’Agricoltura, della Sovranità Alimentare e delle Foreste - ministry of agriculture, food sovereignty and forestry) that is responsible for implementing the annual PGRA (Piano di Gestione dei Rischi in Agricoltura - risk management plan for agriculture) and is charged with representing IVASS at the Monitoring Committee of the National Rural Development Programme.

On behalf of IVASS she took part, as rapporteur, in various conferences and seminars.
