Cooperation for Sustainability

The risks associated with ESG profiles are global in nature. Effective action against climate change requires a high degree of cooperation among different countries, sectors, and stakeholders, including Supervisory Authorities.
IVASS cooperates with other authorities and institutions in major national and international fora (including IAIS, NGFS, OECD, FIT, EIOPA, ESRB) to promote awareness of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and the role of insurance in managing the consequences of natural disasters.
In this regard, it supports any useful initiative to develop supervisory methods that can accompany the insurance market toward better management of these risks.
