Description

Pursuant to Article 25, paragraph 4, of IVASS Regulation No. 4/2013, notice is hereby given that, on 26 November 2024, the liquidator of FIRS Italiana di Assicurazioni e Riassicurazioni s.p.a. with head office in Rome, lawyer Riccardo Szemere, filed with the registry of the Civil Court of Rome - Bankruptcy Section the proposal of composition with the accepting party pursuant to Article 262 of Legislative Decree No. 209/2005, with the opinion of the Supervisory Committee rendered on 15 May 2024, as per the authorization issued by IVASS on 30 October 2024, ref. no. 0239113/24.

In particular, the proposal provides for payment within 30 days after the enforceability of the composition:

1. in full of the priority claims admitted to the statement of liabilities;
2. in full of the claims having a general precedence admitted to the statement of liabilities;
3. in part of the unsecured claims and claims that have lost their priority and have become unsecured admitted to the statement of liabilities in the percentage of 11.4756%. A mechanism is provided that allows a limited variation in the above percentage of payment in the face of lower or higher disbursements for specific expenditure commitments and income from the liquidation by way of interest and refunds.

Within thirty days of the filing, interested parties may deposit a statement opposing the proposal for composition with the registry of the Civil Court of Rome - Bankruptcy Section, pursuant to Article 262(4) of the CAP.

If there is no opposition, the composition shall come into force.
