Description

As from June 4, the new RUI Portal will be operational, allowing intermediaries and insurance companies to directly update the Single Register of Intermediaries. More specifically:

• intermediaries will be able to enter their own and their collaborators' applications for registration, requests for removal or shift to another section of the RUI, changes in personal data and all the other communications required by Regulation 40/2018
• insurance undertakings will be able to enter conferments and terminations of agency mandates or distribution agreements, enrolment/deletion of insurance manufacturers, indicate the head of distribution

To allow for the launch of the new RUI Portal, starting next April 30, it will NO LONGER be possible to transmit applications and communications to IVASS.

In May, the reporting deadlines provided for in Regulation 40/2018 are suspended until the launch of the New RUI.

The following PEC boxes will be disabled:

• istanze.rui@pec.ivass.it for the transmission of applications for registration and deletion of intermediaries via electronic template (smart PDF);
• incarichirui@pec.ivass.it for companies’ communications regarding distribution agreements;
• domini.intermediari@pec.ivass.it for communications from intermediaries regarding new websites;
• variazioni.domini.intermediari@pec.ivass.it for intermediaries’ communications on website changes.

Therefore, applications and communications should be submitted by April 30.
All the requests and communications received by IVASS by April 30 will be collected and processed in May, with the consequent update of the public RUI that will remain available for consultation on the website.

Starting June 4, it will be possible to submit applications and communications through the new RUI Portal.
