With regard to transparency in life assurance contracts, the provisions of the circular on the pre-contractual documents for class III and V insurance remain in force only as regards the drafting of the pre-contractual documents for multi-class products which are a combination of class I and class III and V insurance, as well as for the aspects mentioned in ISVAP Circular 474/2002 - for unit linked products - regarding the benchmark (article 22) and the limits to the investment activities of internal insurance funds (article 30). Also the general provisions (articles 34, 35 and 36) relating to the scope, repeals and entry into force remain effective. The Circular has been repealed by Regulation no. 35 of 26 May 2010 except for the above-mentioned sections.
