Official correspondence addressed to IVASS may also be sent by using the following electronic mail addresses:

Electronic documents coming from certified email addresses are equivalent to registered letters with acknowledgement of receipt.

Electronic documents that are officially relevant include those:

  • forwarded by the Public Administrations, when the conditions envisaged in article 47 of the "Digital Administration Code" exist (legislative decree no. 82 of 7 March 2005, as subsequently amended and supplemented);
  • forwarded by private entities (citizens and undertakings) by certified email, even without electronic signature, or by conventional email, if underwritten with qualified signature or digital signature through a certificate issued by an accredited certifying body (see art. 65 of the "Code").

The e-mail communications which do not fulfil the above-mentioned requirements are not considered official.

In any case, IVASS' electronic mail addresses may receive electronic documents no larger than 40 MB; these documents shall be drawn up using "static” formats, without macros and other executable content, such as, for example, PDF/A, OFFICE (Word, Excel), TXT, RTF, XML, EML, P7M, ZIP, RAR.

IVASS will provide a reply to the documents that are officially relevant by using the form judged most appropriate in each case.

To send a certified email to the individual offices of IVASS you can refer to the relevant list of addresses on the website of Indice delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni (IPA).
