Since 2022, he has been Head of the New Estimator Management Sector.

Hired by ISVAP in January 1985, he first worked in the Complaints Section and, from 2003, in the Third Party Protection Section of the newly established Consumer Protection Division.

From 2010, he was involved in the creation of the so-called New Claims Database, which came into force on January 1, 2011.

In 2012, he moved to the Anti-Fraud and Claims Database Section of the Inspection and Anti-Fraud Division, where he contributed to the preparation of relevant legislation and carried out numerous inspections.

Since June 2013, he has been working in the Anti-Fraud Division of the Research and Data Management Directorate and has been following the requirements set out in ISVAP Regulation No. 44/2012. He is also involved in the project for the development of the Claims Database (EBDS), ministerial decrees (Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and Ministry of Economic Development) on black boxes, the Direct Compensation Agreement, and the initial stages of the IPER survey.

Since September 2019, he has coordinated the interdepartmental working groups responsible for the creation of the new online public estimator, operational since May 2021, and the issuance of the relevant regulations.
